Day 1 :Welcome aboard Junction Holidays’s exciting and comprehensive tour to China.
Today, embark on your exciting tour of China. On arrival at Beijing you will be greeted by your friendly Junction Holidays tour manager / local representative outside the baggage hall and transferred to your conveniently located hotel. Day 2:Enjoy the sights and sounds of Beijing on your guided city tour. Visit Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City. Also enjoy a Hutong City tour.
After an American breakfast at the hotel, we proceed on an exciting sightseeing tour of this ancient city. Visit Tian’anmen Square, one of the largest squares in the world followed by a visit to the Forbidden City. See the real Beijing city as we take you on a Hutong Rickshaw tour of the city. Proceed to the Wild Goose Pagoda; a monastery housing a statue of Buddha, carved out of teakwood. Enjoy the Tang Dynasty show in the evening. Day 5 :Today visit the world famous Xian Terra-Cotta warriors and enjoy a short 360-degree film. Also included is a visit to the Huaqing Hot Springs.
After breakfast at your hotel, visit the famous Terracotta warriors; where you can see life-sized colorful terracotta warriors and horses arranged in battle formation. Also enjoy a 360 degree film presentation about the terracotta army; its history and formation. Today enjoy Lunch. Day 6 : Onto the picturesque city of Guilin.
After breakfast at the hotel, we proceed to take our flight to Guilin. On arrival at Guilin, visit the Elephant Trunk Hill, located close to the Li River. The name is derived from the shape of the hill which is just like a huge elephant drinking water from the river. Also visit the stunning Reed Flute Cave which is also known as “the palace of natural of arts”. Tonight enjoy a local vegetarian dinner. Overnight at the Guilin Plaza hotel or similar in Guilin.
Day 7 :Enjoy a scenic cruise on the Li River. Depart for Chongqing.
After an American breakfast, proceed for a cruise on the Li River, with its breathtaking scenery and taste of a life far removed from the concrete metropolis, the scenery along the Li River become one of China’s top tourist destinations. Tonight enjoy a western buffet dinner at your hotel in Guilin. Later depart for the airport for your flight to Chongqing.Overnight at Hotel Best Western East Garden or similar in Chongqing.
Day 8 : Today enjoy the sights of Chongqing. Later board your Yangtze river cruise.
Today enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel. The morning is at leisure for you to explore the city on your own. Enjoy a delicious Indian Lunch followed by a visit to the Panda Zoo. Here there are more 230 kinds of rare wild animals on display the most popular being the pandas itself. Later visit the highest park in Chongqing-the Eling Park. Day 9 :Enjoy a shore excursion to the Fengdu Ghost City.
