Day 08 Visit a traditional Swiss farm. Visit Bern – the Swiss capital, one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe .
This morning after a buffet breakfast, check-out and sit back in your coach as we take you to a tiny tucked away mountain village to visit a traditional Swiss farm. Here you will get a chance to look over the farmer's shoulder while he is milking, taking care of the little calf and many such activities.Later we drive you to Bern . Marvel at this capital city, which still retains its old charm in the Clock tower, the Bear Pit, the Parliament Buildings and the Gothic fountains. After a delicious Indian lunch we take you to the charming town of Vevey , home of Charlie Chaplin. This morning, after a buffet breakfast, sit back in your coach as we drive past the city of Lausanne on the shores of Lac Leman to arrive at the beautiful Chillon castle – the fortress which dates back to the 11th century and made famous by Lord Byron, occupies a stunning position right on Lake Geneva. It is one of the finest and most visited monuments in Switzerland .Later, drive to Geneva –the city in the countryside. Geneva has the best of both worlds and could well be called the ‘Garden city' situated on the shores of Lac Leman. MEDICAL INSURANCE
Normal insurance charges amounting to Rs. 750 for the duration of the tour are included in the tour price.
However, any passenger above the age of 60 years and those who wish to extend their stay will be required
to pay additional charges.
WHAT YOUR TOUR PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE
• If you wish to travel in advance i.e., before the published departure date as mentioned in the brochure or like to come back on a later date after the tour ends, there will be an additional charge of minimum INR 5,000 per person per way (subject to availability of seats for the given dates & ticket validity). The exact additional charge will be advised to you on confirmation of the deviation date.
• Cost of Basic Travel Quota equivalent to USD 10,000.
• Any increase in the airfare charged by the airline on your air ticket (presently calculated as of 30th November 2010 rates).
