Day Wise Breakup
Day 1 :Board your flight to London – capital of England.
Bon voyage! Today you are off on your European tour with Thomas Cook as you board your flight to London. On arrival, you will be greeted by your Thomas Cook Tour Manager outside the baggage hall. We shall then proceed to the hotel and check-in. This evening you will visit the world-renowned Madame Tussaud’s wax museum which houses a unique collection of the world’s largest wax works of famous personalities, including India’s top leaders and film stars. Tonight enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 2 : Enjoy the many sights of London on your guided tour. Travel in style on board a ferry to Holland.
After a continental breakfast, we check out and leave for a guided city tour with an expert English - speaking local guide who will explain to you all the highlights of London’s landmarks: the Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, the Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Tower Bridge, the River Thames and more. After lunch, you have some free time on your own to shop at many London’s famous shopping stores like Marks & Spencer, Selfridges and many more on Oxford street before we drive to the port to board your ferry to Holland. After a delicious Indian dinner on board the ferry, you can linger in the various shops or enjoy the wide range of entertainment available for all ages.Overnight on board the ferry.
Day 3 : Amsterdam – a city full of surprises. Explore Amsterdam on an exciting canal cruise. Visit Keukenhof till 20th May. 21st May onwards, visit Madurodam - Holland in miniature. Then proceed to Brussels, the capital of the European Union.
After a Continental breakfast on board, disembark the ferry. Then sit back and relax in your coach as we proceed to Amsterdam. On arrival, board your glass-topped boat as we sail through the canals for an exciting canal cruise. The city’s colorful past comes alive with its 1,000 bridges and fine old houses on your tour of Amsterdam. This afternoon for lunch, enjoy a hot Indian meal. Next, proceed to Lisse village to visit Keukenhof – the largest spring garden in the world. Bulbs of colorful tulips bloom only till May 20th. Be enchanted by the indoor floral displays and colorful flower beds amongst ancient trees. 21st May onwards, we take you to visit Madurodam, where you can see most of Holland in miniature, replicated in minute detail on a 1:25 scale. Visit a cheese farm and a wooden shoe factory. See a demonstration of how cheese is made and wooden shoes are carved out of wooden blocks. You also have a chance to savour some cheese. Enroute, stop at a windmill – the most common sight in Holland for a photograph. Next, proceed to Brussels to visit the world renowned Grand Place and the legendary Mannekin Pis statue. A photostop at the Atomium is also included. This evening, after a delicious hot Indian dinner, drive to your hotel and check in. Overnight at Hotel Best Western / Thon / Ibis or similar in Brussels / Antwerp.
Day 4 : On to Paris – the city of romance. Enjoy the sights of Paris on your guided city tour including the Eiffel Tower (2nd level). Enjoy the Seine cruise in Paris. What’s more, you have a chance to enjoy a grand night-out at the world-famous music and dance extravaganza – The Lido Show.
Check out of your hotel after a continental breakfast and proceed to the glamorous city of Paris. After a hot Indian lunch on arrival we take you on an exhilarating city tour with an English-speaking local guide, who will show you many of the best-loved Parisian sights - Alexander Bridge, Arc de Triomphe, Concorde Square, Opera House, Invalides, Champs Elysees and many more. We shall then proceed to visit the Eiffel Tower (2nd level), from where you will have a splendid view of this beautiful city. Next, enjoy a romantic cruise on river Seine. Day 6 : Onto Germany! Enjoy a scenic cruise on the River Rhine.
After a continental breakfast, check out and then sit back in your coach as we drive to Germany. Today Indian lunch will be provided. On arrival, board your scenic cruise on the River Rhine. The River Rhine is one of Europe’s major navigable rivers. Cruising down the Rhine, you will pass steep slopes covered with vineyards. Day 7 : On to Hofgut Sternen – heart of the Black Forest. View the spectacular Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen.

This morning, after a continental breakfast, the day is at leisure OR you can opt for an adventurous ride to visit Jungfraujoch – the Top of Europe, for a memorable encounter with snow and ice. Sit back in your coach as we proceed to the beautiful town of ‘Lauterbrunnen’, where the excitement begins. You will be amazed at the scenic splendour that you see from aboard the ‘cog-wheel’ train, which takes you to a height of 3,454 meters to reach Jungfraujoch! Visit the Ice Palace on top of the longest glacier in the Alps. A visit to the Sphinx is also included. Today, you will enjoy an Indian meal for lunch with champagne specially arranged for you at Jungfraujoch – one of the many great experiences on your tour. Enjoy hot Indian lunch. Later, we drive you to Florence – the capital of Tuscany. On arrival, meet your english speaking local guide who will show you the Duomo, the Campanile, the Baptistery with its gates to Paradise, and Piazza Della Signoria – an open-air museum of sculptures. The famous Ponte Vecchio Bridge across the river Arno and the Piazzale Michelangelo with the impressive statue of David. Day 11 : Re-live the history of Rome in this ancient city’s great landmarks. Marvel at the Colosseum. Visit the world’s smallest country – the Vatican City. Visit the magnificent St. Peter’s Basilica.
After a continental breakfast in your hotel, sit back and relax in your coach as we drive to Rome. After a hot Indian lunch on arrival proceed with an English - speaking guide to the Vatican City
– the smallest country in the world. (Shorts or sleeveless vests not allowed.) Visit the holy basilica of St. Peter’s – the incomparable home of architectural and artistic masterpieces by Michelangelo and Bernini which will leave you awestruck. Next, see the Colosseum known for its gladiator fights. Day 12 : Romantic Venice – crossed by canals and beautiful monuments.
After a continental breakfast at the hotel, check-out and board the coach as we drive you to Venice. On arrival at the pier, board a boat to proceed to the heart of the traditional city of Venice
– The St. Mark’s Square. On arrival, admire the St. Mark’s square with the Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, the Campanile and the Bridge of Sighs. Also visit the Murano Glass showroom. Day 13 :Fly back home.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

• The Schengan Visa is valid for travel to Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and France (In case of any change in the European Community visa policy, additional charges will be applicable).
MEDICAL INSURANCE
Normal insurance charges amounting to Rs. 750 for the duration of the tour are included in the tour price.
However, any passenger above the age of 60 years and those who wish to extend their stay will be required
to pay additional charges.
WHAT YOUR TOUR PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE
• If you wish to travel in advance i.e., before the published departure date as mentioned in the brochure or like to come back on a later date after the tour ends, there will be an additional charge of minimum INR 5,000
per person per way (subject to availability of seats for the given dates & ticket validity). The exact additional charge will be advised to you on confirmation of the deviation date.
• Cost of Basic Travel Quota equivalent to USD 10,000.
• Any increase in the airfare charged by the airline on your air ticket (presently calculated as of 30th October 2010 rates).

• Passengers joining this tour must travel to / from the hub city at their own expense. • The airfare is based on the fare structure existing as on November 30, 2009. Any further increase in the airfare due to an increase in the fuel price, change in Government regulations, taxes, etc.,charged by the airline will have to be borne by the passengers. Junction Holidays will not be held responsible for the same. • Indian Dinners are pre set and a - la carte is not possible. • Breakfast will be continental which includes tea, coffee, cereal, juice, bread, butter, marmlade. • Any damages caused to the hotel rooms / Coach during your stay, shall be payable by the passengers. The tour manager and the driver will do their best to get you as close to the monuments as possible.• On certain dates, the St. Peters Cathedral in Vatican could be closed. The Tour Manager reserves the right to change/amend itinerary • Due to major international events such as the Air Show, World Athletic Meet, the Motor Show in Paris and major trade fairs all over Europe, the hotels may be blocked out more than 2 years in advance. In view of this, you may have to stay in hotels further away from the cities and the itineraries may have to be altered / amended. • We also reserve the right to substitute a hotel of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary. • We reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised. • For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary.
